Fund Raising
Milford Junior Major League is a nonprofit volunteer organization that receives
no outside funding for the day to day operations of the league. We are always in
need of additional funding to help offset the costs associated with operating
our youth baseball league, which for 2010 is expected to exceed $115,000. The
registration fees that a parent pays when enrolling a player does not cover the
cost for his or her child to play or run the program. To make up the shortfall,
additional sources of revenue are sought after and include:
- Raffle Ticket Fund Raiser
- Concession Stand Proceeds
- Team Sponsors
- Outfield Sign Sponsors
- Annual Golf Tournament
- Oyster Festival
- Brick Program
