Babe Ruth Division Evaluations

Evaluations for the Babe Ruth 15 division will take place 6:00pm on Monday May 7, 2018 at Wasson Field. All new players and those moving up to the BR15 division must attend this on field player evaluation.

Current high school baseball players and those players that cannot attend the evaluations should E-Mail Us

Players should arrive 15 minutes prior to their respective start time. All players should be properly equipped with baseball attire and gear. Catchers should bring their gear.

Tryouts for Senior Babe Ruth (ages 16-19) will take place on Monday May 7, 2018 at Wasson Field at 7:00pm. This is a competative division and not all players will make the team.

Current high school baseball players and those players that cannot attend the evaluations should contact George Spescha

The Senior Babe Ruth (BR18) evaluations will start at 7:00pm. Players should arrive 15 minutes prior to their respective start time. All players should be properly equipped with baseball attire and gear.


Parents are also reminded that NEW bat rules are in effect starting this season. Additional information can be found HERE

Daniel S. Wasson

Daniel S. Wasson graduated from Foran High School in 1979. While at Foran, Danny was captain of both the baseball and football teams. Danny grew up playing baseball in the Milford Little League system, as well as playing in the Senior Babe Ruth Leagues.

  • Upon graduation from Foran, Danny joined the Air Force and in 1984 after serving 4 years, Danny joined the Milford Police department. He became a K9 officer within his first year with the department.
  • Danny was killed in the line of duty on April 12th, 1987 . He was shot and killed on the Post Rd. in Milford, CT after a routine traffic violation stop.

The Wasson Babe Ruth Baseball and Milford Juinor Major Leagues would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the familiy of Officer Daniel S. Wasson for the opportunity to extend the character and integrity of the leagues youth that Officer Wasson displayed by giving his life to protect us all here in our city.
